The Israelis seems to appreciate the long skirts. I have seen many dresses and skirts in light materials that are almost touching the floor. This skirt is from Dorin Frankfurt’s S/S 2012 collection.

Är blått det nya svarta? Antagligen inte. Svart kommer förbli det nya svarta. Men jag tycker att det inte finns något mer elegant än en helblå outfit. Välj olika nyanser av blått. Jag föredrar att koncentrera mig på en klassisk marinblå med detaljer i Kleinblått.

Is blue the new black? Probably not. Black will always be the new black. But I don’t think there is anything as elegant as a totally blue outfit. Choose different shades of blue. I prefer to concentrate on a classic navy blue with details in Klein blue.

Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Chloé, Christopher Kane.

Jag gillar trenden vi såg i samtliga modestäder, New York, London, Milano och Paris. Designers som Christopher Kane, Chloé och Louis Vuitton valde att ändra modets riktning, från en mörk sida med läder, spets och svart, till pasteller och söta looks.

I like this trend that we saw in all the fashion cities, New York, London, Milano and Paris. Designers like Christopher Kane, Chloé and Louis Vuitton chose to change the direction of fashion, from a dark side with leather, lace and black to pastels and cute looks.

Igår besökte jag Modinåkerlind och Patriksson Communication och idag drog jag med mig min syster Eva till Jung, Ibeyostudio och Acnes showroom. Jag blev framförallt imponerad av Acnes kontor i Wallenberg gamla bankpalats i Gamla Stan.

I visited Modinåkerlind and Patriksson Communication yesterday and today my sister joined me at Jung, Ibeyostudio and Acne’s showrrom. I got really impressed by Acne’s office in Wallenberg’s old bank palace in the Old Town of Stockholm.

This sweater is by JC. I hope they will make it in a lot of colors.

Jag har skrivit tidigare om hur fort modet går, passerar oss, förändras och att säsonger börjar suddas ut. Det handlar numera mer om att finna en personlig stil som håller hela livet, än att pricka in rätt trender. Även om design är daterat till ett visst år, tidpunkt spelar det inte längre någon roll och vi kan inspireras lika mycket av höstkollektioner från 2008, 1998 eller vårkollektioner för 2012, oavsett säsong.

Idag besökte jag två PR-byråer, Modinåkerlind och Patriksson Communication och fick ta en närmare titt på deras märkens vårkollektioner. Det fanns många fina saker, och jag blev glatt överraskad över många av plaggen som jag hade sett tidigare på catwalken under Stockholm Fashion Week. Jag fotade några av mina favoriter.

I have already mentioned how fast fashion is going, passing us, changing and that seasons are starting to disapear. It is more about finding your personal style which you can keep for your whole life, than to wear the right trends. Even if design is meant to be for a certain year, time, it doesn’t matter and we can now get inspired by old collection like from fall 2008, 1998 and also the spring collections for 2012.

There were a lot of nice things and I got happily surprised by some of the pieces that I had seen on the runway during Stockholm Fashion Week. I took pictures of some of my favorites.
