Let’s talk about New York Fashion Week that just finished.

What I loved: Alexander Wang’s bag which looks like a gun cases, the colors of Australia that Rodarte used, that Altuzarra was inspired by different cultures and countries like France, India, Marocco and China, Marc Jacobs’ fairytale hats, Prabal Gurung’s golden coats and everything, everything by Theyskens’ Theory.

I think we are in the middle of the most frustrating period of the year right now, fashion wise at least. In Sweden it is still cold and snowing, which makes it impossible to wear anything with a skirt or a heel. I was thinking to buy a pair of warm Dr Martens boots, but then I realized that the spring should arrive soon and it is not worth it. And it is not the right time to buy clothes in pastels and white either. Anyway, I am looking forward to be able to wear high skirts like this one by Dorin Frankfurt.

And it is Klein blue. My favorite color.

I can’t get tired of these simple blouses. They are perfect for any occasion matched with pencil skirts or a pair of skinny jeans. And don’t forget to style it like Emmanuelle Alt; to tuck it in the front and let it hang around the back.

I visited the PR agency Patriksson Communication this morning and met Elin who is the Showroom manager. Patriksson seems to be a really fun place to work at with all the brands, customers and people you get the chance to meet. But it must be so hard to keep yourself away from all the amazing clothes.

They had a lot of beautiful pieces like this sweater by Gant.

The Fashion Week has started in New York. Thanks to Style.com, Tommy Ton, The Sartorialist and the live streaming channels we all can sit front row and get updated by the new trends and collections. Tomorrow at 12 (New York time), Theyskens’ Theory is inviting you to their runway show. It is probably one of my favorite brands in New York and I can’t wait to see what Theyskens has created for us.
